The apostles have not yet been enlightened by the grace of the Spirit of God, they also doubted much. They were not yet fully confident in those who are in front of them, and that actually happens to them in their eyes.

When the Lord spoke them about the approaching godfather of his death and resurrection, they looked around in bewilderment, without understanding that he was talking to them. What do these words mean, what will he die? Can the Messiah die? And what will happen to them if he dies? Horror, doubts have grown in their hearts.

"For your disbelief". It is surprising to hear the apostles in the address, but remember the resurrection of the Savior. So what is faith, brothers and sisters? Let us ask yourself this question again. Nothing will be impossible for us! When at your prayer we ask for some miracle, is there a struggle and mind? Do we doubt what is possible? And if - yes, then what is surprised if the miracle does not happen. When a person asks how believed the father of a rapid boy, when he shouted, realizing that this was the only chance to heal his unfortunate child, a person gets a relatives.

Of course, faith without reason it is also bad, this is a dangerous state. The heart and mind should work together, otherwise, having faith only in the heart, without work reason, a person can fall into the charm or heresy, can reach unbelief or to fanaticism, or to such a vanity that he will lose himself to the saints, the wonderworker and perish. But only one mind will not give anything to a person: you can say with your mind - yes, there is God, yes, I will observe his commandments, yes, I will go to church, but if the heart is silent, it will be only words, or one Only the external execution of rites, and the Holy Spirit does not touched the heart, because it will be closed, deaf and unable to faith.

How do we come to the perfect faith, how to raise such faith - so that the mind obeyed the heart, but remained, strengthening faith? Holy Fathers are unanimously advised to gain faith conscious prayer, regular reading of the Holy Scriptures - the Gospel, above all. We hear from the Old Testament narration, from the lives of the holy people, the expression "they went before the Lord", "before the Face of God." How to understand these words? Did these words respond to your heart? Or is it just a "fuel" of the rules (the word itself is unsuitable for spiritual life - "deduction", "read the rule", to whom this "subtraction" is needed?).

Our prayer should be conjugate with constant memory, with calling the name of God during the day.

And of course, to walk in front of the Lord, having him in his heart it is impossible without regular communion of the body and blood of Christ. This is where the source of grace is true, that water is alive, about which Christ himself says that drinking this water will not crave forever! Then we will "walk in front of the Lord."
